Fabric & care
100% rayon. Soft, lightweight and beautifully fluid.
Hand wash in cold water to keep your Yemaya looking its best. Do not tumble dry. Air dry naturally.
If the fabric feels slightly smaller after washing, gently steam or iron it on low heat to help it return to its original shape and flow.
Treat her gently, and she’ll follow you for many summers. ☀️

Is Yemaya really one size?
Yes. Yemaya was designed with an elasticated fit and long adjustable straps that allow it to adapt to different body shapes and be adjusted to your body.
How many ways can I wear it?
That’s part of the fun. The long straps can be tied, crossed and styled in different ways, so you can change the look depending on your mood. And even find your own way.
Can I wear it from beach to night?
Absolutely. Yemaya was designed for exactly that. Wear it barefoot over your bikini during the day, then restyle the straps and dress it up for sunset drinks or dinner.
Where is Yemaya made?
Each Yemaya is handmade in small quantities in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, where Maison Shambori began.
What is it made from?
Rayon. Soft, fluid and lightweight, chosen for the way it falls and moves on the body.
How should I care for it?
We recommend hand washing in cold water. Rayon can naturally contract when wet. A steamer or gentle ironing helps the fabric relax and return to its original shape.
